Port a huge bonanza for Machilipatnam
Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy on Friday noted that Machilipatnam town would stand to gain immensely once the port became operational.
He made this observation, after laying foundation stone for underground drainage and distributing house site pattas to 333 beneficiaries in Machilipatnam town. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was aiming to provide houses for all the poor in the State. The Telugu Desam Party always worked for welfare poorer sections. The government was at present providing pension to 54 lakh people.
He charged the opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy with criticising the Chief Minister and levelling baseless charges. If elected, Jaganmohan Reddy would loot public assets, he warned the public. They should beware of the YSRCP chief’s political plans and machinations.
KE assured that the State government would give stipend to all the eligible youth, adding that Chandrababu Naidu is the visionary leader and Lokesh is the digital leader. Minister Kollu Ravindra and MP Konakalla Narayana were also present.
