Sports provide relief to employees

Kakinada:  Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Reddy Subrahmanyam on Saturday inaugurated a three-day Panchayat Raj Employees Sports and Games Meet at JNTU-K sports grounds here on Saturday.

The meet is being conducted to mark the centenary celebrations of East Godavari Zilla Parishad.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy Subrahmanyam hailed the role of panchayat raj employees in the effective implementation of various welfare and government schemes in the state. 

He complimented Zilla Parishad Chairperson Jyotula Naveen for conducting the meet for the employees and said sports and games will provide relief and relaxation to employees from their routine work. 

MLAs  Jyotula Nehru, Varupula Subba Rao, P Anantalakshmi, MLC Chikkala Ramachadra Rao, District Collector Karthikeya Mishra and others participated.
