Anil Chandra Punetha assumes charge as AP new Chief Secretary

Amaravati: Newly-appointed Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Anil Chandra Punetha assumed office here on Sunday. The 1984 batch IAS officer took charge from outgoing Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar at the Secretariat in Velagapudi.
On this occasion, Punetha thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for giving him an opportunity as Chief Secretary. He said the Chief Secretary’s post was a challenging job. While stating that the state is facing various challenges since the bifurcation, he said he would try to overcome the problems.
Punetha said he would work relentlessly to improve living conditions of the people of the state. The welfare schemes would be delivered to the people in time every time, he said.
