Regular check-up helps prevent diseases: Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao

Vijayawada: Everyone should undergo health check-up as a precautionary measure before falling sick, said Water Resource Management Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao.

He was the chief guest at the 32nd anniversary of MJ Naidu Hospital here on Sunday.

In this regard, a free health camp was organised on the hospital 
premises.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that most of the people go to the doctor for treatment after getting affected by diseases. 

All the people above 40 years should undergo health check-ups regularly as a precautionary measure to stay healthy.

He appreciated the chairman of the hospital Dr MJ Naidu for organising free health camp and performing free surgeries to mark the anniversary the hospital.

RTC chairman Varla Ramaiah said that Dr MJ Naidu was synonymous with knee, joint pains and joint replacements.

MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao also spoke.

Dr MJ Naidu said that in the medical camp MRI scan was done on 50 percent concession and surgeries would be done free of cost, if need be.
