She has been the Dean of IIM, Ahmadabad and was the Founder President of Flame University.

Dr Indira Parikh mentioned that the Indian education system does not prepare the youth to face the challenges of life. “It is important that we prepare our students for life rather than for a job or career.

The liberal education is one approach where students learn life skills as well as perspectives and priorities.

Success in profession and career becomes second nature to these students as they are ambidextrous, proactive and are willing to invest and persist in their dreams,” she added.

Dr Jeyavelu, Dean, VSB stated that the BBA programme was designed to help the students and professors.

The students go through a diverse set of Liberal Education courses in the first two years and top it up with business / management courses.
Prof Nimmy Rose Jacob coordinated the Personal Growth lab. Students and others were present.
