Engineering student dies of electrocution

Kakinada: A 19-year-old engineering student S Sai died of electrocution here on Wednesday. According to sources, the second year engineering student of Ideal Institute of Technology of Kakinada and resident of Ramanayya Peta on city outskirts, works as part-time employee in a wholesale fruit shop at Pedda Bazaar in city.

While attending to his work, a snapped live wire from the nearby electric pole fell on him resulting in severe burn injuries.  He was rushed for medical aid immediately but was declared brought dead by the medical officer at Kakinada Govt General Hospital.
