YSRCP leaders demand arrears for unemployed

Srikakulam: YSRCP leaders Dharmana Prasada Rao, Dharmana Krishna Das and others demanded payment of arrears for unemployed youth across the state as TDP government failed to fulfill its assurance for more than four and half years.  

They launched a 48 hours Deeksha for unemployed youth at Srikakulam on Tuesday. However, the police foiled the Deeksha in the early hours of Wednesday.  

Speaking to media, the YSRCP leaders said that during 2014 elections, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu assured to pay Rs 2,000 as monthly allowance for unemployed youth but after four and half years, the TDP government is ready to pay only Rs 1,000, which is half than assured.
