Missing child traced within 24 hours in Pithapuram

Pithapuram: Police traced a three-year-old boy of Bangaramma Ravichettu Centre within 24 hours and handed him over to parents here on Wednesday. 

Construction worker Sattireddy Prasad had two sons and Gowri Shankar is the younger one. 

He went missing while playing in front their house on Monday. 

His parents searched for him and lodged a missing compliant with police on Tuesday.

Simultaneously, it was published in newspapers. Auto driver Kommuri Venkataramana of Durgada in Gollaprolu mandal handed over Gowri Shankar in the presence of police here. 

He said that when he was waiting at Bangaramma Ravichettu Centre, the boy along with other passengers get in to the auto. 

All passengers except Gouri Shankar get down at Durgada. Venkataramana said that the boy was unable to say his name and he informed the same to Gollaprolu police. 

He said that police asked him to keep the boy in his house. 

The auto driver said that after came to know about him through newspapers he came here to hand over him.
