Dr Ramineni Puraskarams function on Oct 7 in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Eminent personalities including badminton coach Pullela Gopi Chand, Dr Garikapati Narasimha Rao, Mahanati film director, Nag Ashwin Reddy and children’s literature author Chokkapu Venkata Ramana will be honored with Dr Ramineni Foundation Visista Puraskarams for the year 2018, announced Ramineni Foundation chairman Dharmapracharak  Ramineni here on Thursday. 

The award function would be organised at CK Conventions, Mangalgiri on October 7.

Addressing the media, Dharmapracharak Ramineni said that Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu will participate as the Chief Guest and former cricket captain Kapil Dev will participate as a distinguished guest of the programme. 

Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Prattipati Pulla Rao, DGP RP Takur, former Minister, MLA Kamineni Srinivas, Telugu film director K Raghavendra Rao and Chief Selector BCCI, MSK Prasad will also attend the programme, said the Dharmapracharak.

Ramineni Foundation convener and former ZP Chairman, Guntur, Paturi Nagabhushanam said that the award selection committee of five members is founder director of LV Prasad Eye Institute Dr GN Rao, editorial director of Sakshi Media Group Dr K Ramachandra Murthy, Psychologist and HRD trainer Dr BV Pattabhiram along with the chairman of the foundation Dharmapracharak Ramineni.
