Free workshop conducted in Pace Institute for Engg students in Ongole
Ongole: A free workshop on ‘Augmented reality and virtual reality’ for Prakasam and Nellore districts for the forthcoming Gaming Hackathon, to be jointly organised by AP Information Technology Academy, UNESCO, UNITY 3 D on October 13 and 14, was conducted in Pace Institute of Technology & Sciences. Many engineering students attended.
Madhur Gupta, UNITY 3D field engineer, who was the resource person at the workshop, said it would benefit students in gaming and 3D fields.
He pointed out that future gaming would be based on augmented reality and virtual reality.
Institute secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar stated that students and youth were showing more interest in gaming, as their employability increased in gaming and 3D.
Principal Dr M Srinivas said students have to attain knowledge in all related aspects and think differently if they have to succeed in gaming.
The participants included planning and development director Dr Sukumar Puhan, CSE department head Dr T R Chaitanya.
