World Space Week observed in Chirala

Chirala: St. Anns Engineering College, Chirala observed World Space Week celebrations here on Thursday. 

The celebrations were held by electronics and communications department and center for ISRO GSSS studies. 

This was informed by the principal of the college Dr P Ravikumar in a press note. 

Speaking during the celebrations, ECE department head Dr K Jagdish Babu said that there are several opportunities in the field of space technology research.  

Dr AM Varaprasad , scientist, said that India stands fifth in the world in conducting satellite experiments. 

He explained different stages of satellite experimentation.  

Dr C Subba Rao, director (accreditation), heads of departments, lecturers and students participated in the celebrations.
