Yogi Vemana University V-C thanks Chandrababu Naidu for release of 15 crore
Kadapa: Yogi Vemana University (YVU) Vice-Chancellor (V-C) Prof A Ramachandra Reddy has thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for sanctioning additional funds to the tune of Rs 15 crore for construction of staff quarters, V-C and Registrar bungalows and a police station.
The V-C stated that he had submitted a representation to the Chief Minister requesting for the funds on August 25th when he visited the YVU campus to participate in Vanam-Manam programme. The Chief Minister’s Office complied with all the administrative clearances and has released orders for sanction of Rs 15 crore to the Higher Education Department, the V-C added.
The sanctioning of additional funds for YVU development indicates the positive outlook of the Chief Minister towards the varsity, he mentioned and said the construction of staff quarters, V-C and Registrar bungalows will provide more proximity between administration and the students.
Thereby, enhancing a more participative solution to the problems in the campus, Prof AR Reddy explained. Commenting on funds release, Registrar Prof K Chandraiah said that the Chief Minister has observed the academic and administration development of the YVU and has released the funds.
The teaching, non-teaching staff, students and scholars of varsity are in a joyous mood with the sanctioning of additional funds and have thanked the Chief Minister for swift administrative approval.
