Naidu takes up Babli case with ministers
Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is holding a crucial meeting with higher officials, legal experts and ministers on the Babli project case, on Saturday at his residence at Undavalli.
Ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Nakka Ananda Babu, Kala Venkatarao, Amarnath Reddy, MP Kanakamedala Ravindra, Advocate General of AP and others present in this meeting.
They are discussing on the non bailable arrest warrant issued by a court in Maharashtra to Chandrababu Naidu, in a case related to staging protest against Maharashtra government, in 2010. The TDP leaders along with Chandrababu Naidu opposed the construction of Babli project on Godavari River. In this case, court issued arrest warrants to 15 other leaders along with Chandrababu Naidu.
Chandrababu Naidu is holding this meeting to arrive a decision how to deal with this case.
