We respect AP Reorganisation Act, says AICC secretary C D Meyyappan

Nellore: AICC secretary C D Meyyappan said that the Congress is the only party that assured to provide Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh after coming to power at the Centre.  

Meyyappan along with the District Congress Committee president Panabaka Krishnaiah participated in ‘Intintiki Congress’ programme in Gudur town on Friday. Meyyappan explained about the pre-manifesto of the party and distributed copies of the manifesto in the town.

Speaking on the occasion, the AICC secretary said that the Congress party would respect AP Reorganisation Act soon after coming to power. He said they had prepared the manifesto for development of the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.
