Income-Tax raids continue in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The officers of Income-Tax department continued raids on companies in Vijayawada city on the second day, Saturday. The I-T department personnel conducted raids on the houses of accounts department officials of Subhagruha India Private Limited. They seized several documents and made inquiries on land deals in Amaravati capital location. Similarly, the I-T department continued raids on the office of Southern Developers and inquired with the staff of the office.

Apart from this, the I-T department served notices to the  management level staff of both the companies to attend the inquiry which would be held for two days, on October 8 and 9. So far, the I-T department officials did not disclose any information to the media with regard to their findings.  According to sources, MLA Revanth Reddy has some contacts with the management of Subhagruha India Private Limited. The I-T department mainly concentrated on the land transactions in Amaravati capital and fund transfer details.
