Kandukur MLA Pothula Ramarao condemns IT raids

Kandukur: Kandukur MLA Pothula Ramarao condemned the IT raids on the companies belonging to his family members and said that they are politically motivated by the Central government.

Speaking to media, Ramarao said the ongoing IT raids on the companies of politicians are like threatening the industrialists. 

Though Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu trying to convince the industrialists with international brand names to setup factories in Andhra Pradesh, the Central government was trying to create a negative atmosphere here, he pointed out. 

He alleged that the prime minister was showing negligent attitude towards industrialists from AP while promoting businessmen from Gujarat.
 
He said the Central government was using the IT department to damage the prospects of international brands coming to the state and the employment opportunities to be generated by them locally.
