Akiveedu: PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy has said that the first and second priorities of the Congress, after attaining power in 2019 elections, is to accord Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, and waive loans of farmers and DWCRA women.

He participated in a door-to-door campaign as a part of ‘Indiramma Rajyam- Intinta Sowbhagyam’ at Kallakuru village of Kalla mandal in West Godavari district on Monday. He distributed pamphlets on Congress agenda to the people.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that people were vexed with the anti-people policies of both the Central and state governments. The Congress can provide an alternative government. The Congress would provide SCS and waive loans given to farmers and Self-Help Group women.

The Congress would give four free LPG cylinders for cooking to the poor women annually soon after coming to power. The party would also provide interest-free loans to women up to Rs 10 lakh, he added. Former MP Kanumuri Bapiraju and others accompanied him.
