IPPB access point inaugurated at Bapatla Head Post Office
Guntur: Superintendent of Post Offices, Tenali, K Harikrishna Prasad has said that in view of bringing banking services at the doorstep of common man, the Central government launched India Post Payments Banks (IPPB). He inaugurated IPPB Access Point at Bapatla Head Post Office on Monday.
Speaking to media persons, he said that people living in the rural areas are forced to go to towns for opening their accounts having bank transactions. From now onwards they need not take such risks as the IPPB are providing services even in rural areas like banks, he added.
The IPPB Tenali Branch Senior Manager, K Naveen Bramhaji said that different banking services like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Cash Transfer, Counter Services, Micro ATM, Mobile Banking etc are available at IPPBS. Assistant Superintendent of Post Ofiices A Srinivas, Head Post Master K Krishna Rao,staff, post men, customers participated.
