Cambridge prize for SVU alumni

Tirupati: Garala Thejesh, alumni of the Sri Venkateswara University and present PhD student of the Cambridge University, has received ‘The Philip Turner Prize–2018’ from the same varsity for his outstanding work in geotechnical centrifuge testing.
He is the first Indian student to receive the prestigious prize. He got a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and his name will enter the list of recipients. He has informed through a press release on Tuesday.
