9-day Goddess Sri Devi festivities begin in Kakinada

Kakinada: The nine-day Goddess Sri Devi festivities started at Sri Satyanarayana Swamy temple in Jawaharlal Street here on Wednesday.

The festivities are being conducted by Nava Yuvak Satsang Committee of Kakinada.

The committee which completed 25 years of its formation planned to conduct festivities on a grand note. Feeding to devotees on massive scale was organised.

Participating in the beginning of festivities on Wednesday, MLA V Venkateswara Rao complemented the organising committee members Manish Tiwari, Hansraj Agarwal and others for planning and executing the festivities on a grand note.

The MLA offered prayers to the Goddess Mahishasura Mardhini on Wednesday.
