Civic chief J Nivas inspects festival arrangements in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: VMC Commissioner J Nivas ordered the concerned officials to take all measures to provide basic infrastructural facilities to the devotees who visit Durga Temple on the occasion of Dasara festival.

As part of the city visit, the Commissioner on Wednesday visited Padmavathi Ghat, Krishnaveni Ghat, Rajiv Gandhi Park and Seethamma Padalu and inspected the facilities provided to the devotees. 

He inspected the highway and the road to the temple and surrounding places and ordered the public health officers to take measures in keeping the premises clean.

Later, he visited Rajiv Gandhi Park and inspected the temporary toilets arrangement and ordered the field staff to keep the toilets clean. 

The Commissioner inspected Canal road Queue line arrangements done for the devotees and inspected the River Front Development Works at Padmavathi Ghat.
