Curtain downs for Chintamani in Pithapuram

 Pithapuram: After receiving a complaints from representatives of Pithapuram Arya Vysya association on Thursday, CI Shoban Kumar ordered the organisers to stop the performance of Chintamani stage play at Daily Market as part of Dasara navratri celebrations. 

The festival committee Venum Narayana Rao submitted a written assurance in this regard. He also categorically assured to stage a mythological play named ‘Bilvamangalam’ instead of Chintamani. 

Those among the complainants were: Velaga Venkata Nagesh, B Satish, K Krishna, B Raja, Ch Shoban, N Lakshmikanth, K Badri, K Sriram, K Ananth and K Suresh.
