NGOs urge House Rent Allowance hike to 30%

Visakhapatnam: The government employees and teachers of Visakhapatnam district urged the 11th Pay Revision Commission Chairman Asuthosh Mishra to increase the House Rent Allowance (HRA) from 20 to 30 per cent.

As part of collecting views and suggestions from employees, the 11 Pay Revision Commission arrived to Visakhapatnam on Friday.  While receiving the representations from the leaders, Asuthosh Mishra said the commission started working from July 9 and would submit its report to the government before July 8, 2019. The commission would visit all districts to register the voices of employees.
