TTD gears up to meet NAVARATRI rush

Tirumala: TTD is fully geared to meet the challenges of the devotees’ rush in view of Navaratri Brahmotsavams, Dasara holidays and holy Peritasi month, said Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju. 

Addressing a review meeting of TTD officials here on Friday, the JEO urged the officials to be fully prepared to meet the challenges of the holiday crowds and the Peritasi rush during the Navaratri Brahmotsavams. 

The JEO said the devotee crowds were spiralling day after day in view of holidays and officials should make advance preparations for devotee darshan, accommodation, laddu prasadam, Anna prasadam, drinking water, medicare and other services in a planned manner. 

He said the officials should display transparency in allotment of accommodation on first come first serve basis and the vigilance officials should make frequent inspections to ensure hassle free transactions to the devotees. 

He also advised the trainee IAS officials Dhyanchand (Karnataka), Praveen Aditya and Vishwanathan (Tamil Nadu), Gopalakrishna (Srikakulam) and Dinesh Kumar (Vijayawada) to review the arrangements made for vahana seva, crowd management, Annaprasadam distribution, accommodations etc. 

He also wanted the officials to make advance preparations for all devotee needs for the Garuda Seva on October 14th and also lauded the selfless and dedicated services rendered by the TTD employees to devotees of Lord Venkateswara. TTD in-charge CVSO Sivakumar Reddy, SEs Ramachandra Reddy and Sudhakar Babu and others were present.
