APIIC official dies in Tenali road mishap

Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation A{IIC) Joint Director Kasumarthi Suvarna Raju (45) died in road accident in Tenali on Saturday. According  toTenali DSP M Snehita, Suvarna Raju was going on a two-wheeler on Mangalagiri road and he tried to overtake a lorry near Tenali town. In his attempt, his bike hit the lorry and he died on the spot after sustaining severe injuries.

He was working with APIIC in Vijayawada city and residing at Ithanagar in Tenali town. His body was shifted to Tenali Government Hospital for conducting post-mortem. Speaking to The Hans India, the DSP said that the police took the lorry driver and cleaner into custody and booked a case against them. Investigation is on.
