Hitachi starts A/C repair training in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) in collaboration with the Industrial Training Institute and Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Limited (JCH-IN) will provide skill training on air-conditioning repair and maintenance course to youth, said APSSDC MD and CEO Koganti Sambasiva Rao.

JCH-IN Chairman-cum-Managing Director Gurmeet Singh and K Sambasiva Rao inaugurated a model skill development centre in Government ITI College, Vijayawada on Saturday. 

Speaking on this occasion, Sambasiva Rao said that Hitachi Company has started first phase across the State to provide training in air-conditioning repair and maintenance courses in five Industrial Training Institutes. 

Already two model Skill Development Centres were started in Kakinada and Vijayawada. Nellore, Anantapur and Vishakhapatnam will have the centres in the next phase. 

Saying that there is good demand for the A-C Repair division in the market, Sambasiva Rao suggested the youth to take advantage of the skill training provided by Hitachi.
