Man dies of swine flu in Chittoor

Chittoor: The dreaded disease swine flu has claimed one more life at Chittoor Government Hospital on Saturday.
 
The victim has been identified as Chalapathi Reddy, 49, a diabetic patient and a resident of Ramnagar Colony, Chittoor. 

He was admitted in CMC hospital, Vellore four days back with fever and cold. 

He was put in ICU and later the doctors have confirmed he was suffering from swine flu and referred to Chittoor Government Hospital on Thursday. 
However, Chalapathi Reddy died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Speaking to The Hans India, DMHO Dr Ramesh Kumar admitted that Chalapthi Reddy was died due to swine flu.

He said the doctors’ team have visited the surrounding areas of swine flu patient and administered prescribed medicines for preventing it.
