SP Malyadri assures action in attacks on working journalists

Anantapur: Additional SP Malyadri has assured journalist associations that he would initiate action against those who are indulging in attacks on working journalists. 

Malyadri said that he has high regard for journalists, who are serving the society and creating awareness on the social front. 

He said that cases would be booked under the Atrocities Act on those who indulge in mindless attacks as a reaction to a published item. 

Responding to the memorandums submitted by various journalists’ associations, Malyadri said that cases would be filed against the accused after thoroughly probing into the incidents of attacks on journalists in different parts of the region.
