Chandrababu Naidu invited for Sardar Patel statue unveiling function

Amaravati: Gujarat Agriculture Minister R C Faldu invited Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for inauguration of Sardhar Vallabhbhai Patel statue on October 31. He met Naidu at Undavalli on Monday and formally invited him for the programme.

The statue is being constructed on the banks of River Narmada River.  Responding to the invitation, Naidu said he would attend for the programme, Faldu told the mediapersons here. 

He further informed that he also invited Governor Narasimhan who promised to attend the event. The 182-metre statue construction was completed in five years at an estimated cost of Rs 2,300 crore. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be chief guest for the programme.
