CM Naidu assured special package for Uddanam

CM, N.Chandrababu Naidu assured to provide special package to Uddanam area which lost more than other areas due to Titli cyclone in the district. He toured at Garudabadra, Akkupalli, Dokulapadu, Chinavanka, Bathupuram, Bipalli and other villages in Palasa and Vajrapukotturu mandals on Tuesday.

On the occasion, CM said that government will provide special package for Uddanam area mandals for revival of coconut and cashew crops in the area. He enquired over relief operations with the public by asking about food, water, sanitation, generators supply, cost of essentials etc. On the occasion CM requested affected people not to resort agitation mode and cooperate with the government for quick pace of relief works. CM questioned why the YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy yet to visit cyclone affected area though he is in adjacent Vizianagaram district and he confined to put kisses to the public not for providing relief to victims he criticised.

CM assured to restore power supply in one day in all cyclone-affected mandals and said that generators provided to all villages to restore water supply and to recharge inverters and cell phones. CM expressed unhappy over central government’s negligence over the request of state government for interim aid as Rs 1200 crore for cyclone relief operations. He also said that crop loss enumeration started in cyclone-affected and flood-affected mandals across the district and appealed to people to provide accurate information on damage.
