CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu keen to extend quality medical aid: MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary
Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary has said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is giving priority for quality medical aid to the poor in the state and spending crores of rupees in this regard.
Distributing Rs 6.9 lakh worth of cheques to the beneficiaries under Chief Minister's Relief Fund here on Tuesday, he said so far an amount of Rs 1,000 crore was spent from Chief Minster's Relief Fund to the needy.
The government was providing free medical aid to the people through government hospitals and also at corporate hospitals.
There was no dearth of funds relating to medical aid and Naidu already gave instructions to the officials in this regard, the MLA averred.
He advised the beneficiaries to avail the amount judiciously and the government was ready to extend any help to the needy.
Cheques were distributed to G Durga Prasad (Rs 1.2 lakh), Satti Venkata Ramakrishna Reddy (Rs 1.5 lakh), Chikkala Raja Kumari (Rs 90,000), G Venkata Suryanarayana (Rs 1.2 lakh), M Tulasi (Rs 1.5 lakh) and K Durga (Rs 66,000).
