Dasara glorifies victory of good over evil

Ongole: Dasara festival is celebrated by Hindu community as a mark of victory of good over evil, said the golden bracelet winner and spiritual speaker Ponnuru Srinivasulu. 

He concluded the three-day speech on Maha Durga Vaibhavam, arranged in memory of Brahmasri Mantripragada Narasimharao at Prasanna Chennakesava Swamy Temple as part of the ongoing Devi Sarannavaratri celebrations.

Srinivasulu explained the importance of reading Lalita Sahasranamam, Devi Bhagavatham, Devi Saptasati and Chandi Parayanam during the Devi Sarannavaratri period and how reciting the name of Mother Durga will help the families forego all obstacles.

Matripragada Prasad and his family members felicitated Srinivasulu for his ‘Sumadhura Sahitibhashanam’ along with the temple chairman Kollipalli Suresh and EO Katta Prasad.
