Tirumala Brahmotsavams: Lord rides on Hanumantha Vahanam

Tirumala: On the sixth day morning of the Navaratri Brahmotsavams at Tirumala on Monday, Lord Malayappa Swamy in the guise of Venkatadri Sri Ramachandra Murthy took a celestial ride on His humble and noble devotee Hanumantha Vahana  With regard to character, strength and ability, Hanuman was far superior to even humans.

His surrendered to the divine cause and his devotion to Lord Rama was unique, exemplary and unconditional. Even today devotees say that wherever the name of Lord Rama is chanted or mentioned, this sacred being would be present there listening to the chanting of his name and absorbed in his thoughts.

Symbol of pure devotion:  
Lord Hanuman symbolically stands for pure devotion, complete surrender and absence of ego. His character tells us what we can do in our lives by becoming pure, humble and surrender outselves to the almighty (saranagati).

Supreme Court Judge Justice N V Ramana, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirumala JEO K S Sreenivasa Raju, Incharge CVSO Sivakumar Reddy, Temple Dy EO S Harindranath, Peishkar  Ramesh, VGOs Sri Raveendra Reddy, Sadalakshmi, temple Staff and devotees took part in the festivities.
