Use technology to solve people’s problems, officials told
Eluru: West Godavari In-charge Collector M Venugopal Reddy has directed the officials to make use of technology to solve problems of the people at the earliest. He received complaints from people at Meekosam grievance cell held at Collectorate here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that officials should try to solve problems of people immediately. It was speed that counts with regard to solving of people’s problems, he said. A villager of Enikepalli in Nidamarru mandal brought to the notice of the In-charge Collector that the officials had readied proposals to government to built houses in government land at Mala Kodi Punta road. The villager informed the officials that the road was key to farmers in transporting their produce and housing complex would bring transportation troubles to them.
Responding to the plea, Reddy asked the officials to conduct a survey of the land to help him take a decision on the problem. A handicapped person from Amaravaram village of Kukkunuru mandal complained to the In-charge Collector that the government had acquired his land for Polavaram project and did not pay compensation. The Collector said that action would be taken as per rules in this matter. Several others also visited grievance cell and submitted their complaints.
