Pawan Kalyan stresses on quality in construction of Polavaram Project

Rajamahendravaram: Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan has said that the great engineer Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton had not taken any contract for constructing barrage on river Godavari, like Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who has taken the task of constructing Polavaram Project.  Addressing the party men at Shelton Hotel here on Tuesday, he underlined the need to construct Polavaram Project with quality which is the lifeline of the state.

The barrage which was constructed at about 150 years ago was able to withstand the weight of as many as five lakh JSP activists participated in Kavat on the barrage. But, to what extent Polavaram Project withstand if the same repeats on the project, he asked. JSP conducted kavat on the barrage to send a message to the rulers that people will question them if they indulge in irregularities, he said.
