Plea to release notification to fill vacant posts

Vijayawada: The leaders of DYFI and AIYF participated in a protest demanding that the government release notification to fill all the vacant posts in the state. 

They placed a memorandum at Goddess Durga pandal at Besant road and offered puja for releasing the notification by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking on the occasion, DYFI state secretary M Surya Rao said the state government had changed its stand thrice by postponing the release of DSC notification deceiving the unemployed youth in the state. 

He recalled that a DSC aspirant Vijayalakshmi from Kurnool committed suicide as she lost hope to get job through DSC. 

He further said that Narendra from Vizianagaram and Sirisha from Krishna district committed suicide, as the government had reduced the number of PET posts. 

He demanded that the state government immediately release notification to fill 2.12 lakh vacant DSC, Groups, Police, Nursing posts in the state.

AIYF state president Afsar said that there were thousands of Group I, II, III and IV posts in the state and demanded that the government release notification for filling all the posts by December.
