Ayurvedic centre inaugurated in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: A 25-bedded Sri Gayatri Multi-Specialty Ayurvedic centre was inaugurated here on Friday.
G Venkat Rao, chairman Vijaya Hospital inaugurated the centre and said Ayurvedic medicine was the best treatment for a few chronic health issues and this treatment should be available to all the people.
The inaugural programme was attended by Social Welfare department Commissioner Rama Rao, Neurologist Ramana Reddy, Nephrologists Sharat Babu and Shakti Group head Guru Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Gayatri Ayurvedic Multi-Specialty centre MD Subramanyeswara Rao said that the hospital was established in 2009 and was recognised by the government of combined Andhra Pradesh.
Advanced treatment was available for patients suffering from psoriasis and other skin problems by experienced doctors, he added.
