Ministers Prattipati Pulla Rao pay tributes to police martyrs in Guntur

 Guntur: Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao has said there is a need to remind the sacrifices of police martyrs who laid down their lives to provide security to the people.

He paid tributes to the police martyrs along with Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu, Guntur urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao, Guntur Rural SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu at police martyrs stupam at Nagarampalem police station in Guntur city on Sunday on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that police force was fighting against those who create disturbance to internal security.

Anand Babu said that the government would extend assistance to the police who died on duty.

District Collector Kona Sasidhar and others spoke.

Later, Pulla Rao and Anand Babu distributed certificates and mementos to the police who won prizes in various competitions.
