Nellore MLA ticket sought for Mayor

Nellore: Even as the Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana is planning to contest from the Nellore Assembly constituency, local Muslim leaders appealed to the Minister to recommend Mayor Abdul Aziz’s name to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for allocating the city constituency ticket by respecting sentiments of minority population. 

The Minister visited Jamia Nurul Huda Mothersa on Saturday and interacted with Muslim leaders as part of his visit to develop infrastructure in the schools. 

On the occasion, Muslim leaders have requested Narayana to recommend the name of Aziz to Chandrababu for giving Nellore segment ticket. 
They said if Mayor Aziz is given seat then there would be recognition for selfless services of the Mayor, who has been trying to improve reputation of the party across the district. 

Mayor Aziz requested the Minister to provide high class toilets and vocational training centre in Mothersa which has been existing for more than 50 years. TDP leaders and officials were present.
