Amaravati:  Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched the new website of Chief Minister’s Relief Fund www.apcmrf.ap.gov.in on Saturday at Undavalli. The Chief Minister launched the portal making a formal transaction towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Individuals and donors interested in contributing to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund can now transact online with the website.

In the wake of Cyclone Titli that hit the north Andhra districts of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram recently, Chandrababu Naidu appealed to individuals to come forward and support the families affected by the cyclone. The Chief Minister also appealed to corporate establishments to adopt affected villages in north Andhra and develop them as 'SMART villages' putting up required infrastructure. The Real Time Governance Society under the Department of Real Time Governance (RTG) has swiftly developed this portal. RTG has given an all new and fresh outlook, to the ‘Chief Minister’s Relief Fund website.

Individuals can make online contributions to the CM Relief Fund by clicking the ‘donate online’ option in the site. Various features like internet banking, mobile wallets and Unified Payments Interface (UPI), QR code, etc have been added to this site. Donors are at their liberty to choose their convenient mode for making transactions. Donors will also receive an online appreciation certificate for their contribution from the office of the Special Chief Secretary, CMRF. There are features like print receipt for every transaction made.

The website also provides an overview on the details of restoration works currently being taken up in Srikakulam district in real time basis. The website also provides an insight of the Project Turpu - giving an overview of the immediate relief measures taken up and comprehensive development plan being proposed in the region.

There is an images section navigating the surfers to know the damages caused due to the cyclone. The RTG has already released a mobile application, People First app, to citizens to post their grievances due to cyclone, as a means to crowd source the damages caused by the cyclone.
