Work hard to achieve goals, SC judge urges students
Guntur: Supreme Court Judge Justice Lavu Nageswara Rao urged the students to do hard work to achieve their goals and said there is no substitute for hard work.
He gave away Dr Ramineni Foundation Pratibha Puraskarams-2018 to the meritorious students and Guru Puraskarams to teachers who taught lessons to them.
The programme was conducted at C K Convention Centre at Police Head Quarters in Guntur district on Saturday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that he was happy to know that students from ZPHS got good marks in the SSC Public Examinations and stressed on significance of discipline in the life.
Central Vigilance Commissioner K.V.Chowdary appreciated the Dr.Ramineni Foundation for encouraging meritorious students and felt that giving scholarships will inspire others to distribute scholarships to some more poor and meritorious students.
Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao said that Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu is giving top priority to education and trying to develop state capital Amaravati as education hub.
He appreciated Dr.Ramineni Foundation for rendering services from USA.
Later. Justice Lavu Nageswara Rao, K.V.Chowdary, Prattipati Pulla Rao distributed scholarships to the students and Guru puraskarams to the teachers. He felicitated the teachers.
A.P.Mahila Commission chairman Nannapaeni Rajakumari, A.P. state government special representative in North America Komati Jayaram, Guntur Zilla Parishad chairman Janimun, Dr.Ramineni Foundation chairman Ramineni Dharma Pracharak were among those present.
