KLP student bags medal in skating

Guntur: Sasidhar from KLP Public School bagged silver medal at the state-level competition which was organised by Ice Skating Association here. 

With this win, he was qualified for the National-level Skating Competition which would be held Delhi, according to KLP secretary and correspondent Dr K Krishnaprasad here on Tuesday.

Krishnaprasad said that sports would promote the spirit of competitiveness, quality, inspiration and satisfaction. 

He exhorted the students to play the sport sincerely and strive to win medals. 

He stated that both education and sports were equally important for students to reach their goals.

The school principal, Y Radhini said that with sports children would attain physical and mental ability and sports should be encouraged right from schooling.
