CPI demands resignation of Modi

Rajamahendravaram: CPI city secretary Nalla Rama Rao has said Raffale jet aircraft scam created sensation in the country and also a burning topic.

Participating in a dharna staged at sub-collector's office against Raffale scam here on Wednesday, he demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resign to his post immediately for tarnishing the image of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi involved in crores worth of scam to benefit his corporate friend Anil Ambani, mortgaging the interests of the country. 

The CPI will organise protest demonstrations across the country, until Prime Minister Narendra Modi stepped down from his post.

The party will bring awareness among people relating to the scam. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi should feel shy for the corruption took place in the highest investigative agency CBI, he said. 

The charisma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also in dark, he said. CPI activists participated in the protest programme.
