Donations pour in for AP CM’s Relief Fund

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation, Waltair Club, Alwardas Group of Institutions have donated a large amounts of money to the Chief Minister’s  Relief Fund to help the Titli cyclone victims in Srikakulam. 

The delegates of the organisations handed over the cheques to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the Vizag Fintech Festival in the city on Tuesday. Visakhapatnam Port Trust Chairman M T Krishna Babu handed over a cheque of Rs 26,91,146 to the Chief Minister.

The amount was contributed from one-day salary of VPT employees. VPT Trustee D K Sarma, union leader B Masenu, C Harichandran, secretary, VPT and P M Raju, secretary, VPT Officers Association were present.

On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation, its President G Sambasiva Rao and O Naresh Kumar presented a cheque of Rs 26 lakh to the Chief Minister. The delegates from Waltair Club handed over a cheque of Rs 7 lakh and Alwardas Group of Institutions gave Rs 2 lakh to the Chief Minister.
