East Godavari District Football team selected

Rajamahendravaram: An eighteen-member football team from East Godavari district will be representing the district in Andhra Pradesh State Inter-District Football Championship under-17 scheduled to be held from October 24 to October 26 in Agiripalli of Krishna district.

East Godavari Football Association (EGFA) has introduced the team members to elite of the city here on Wednesday.

Giridhari Projects' managing director and EGFA vice-president Sunkara Gowtham Kumar assured them to extend necessary help to the football players. 

Later, the duo along with Giridhari Projects director Lakshmi Kusuma distributed kits and clothes to the players. 

The duo wished the team members to comeout with flying colors in the championship tournaments.

EGFA president and MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana,secretary Sunkara Nagendra Kishore, organising secretary S Gangadhar, RS Raju, coach Rama Chandra, manager Sairam, SKVT college principal Dr Abel Raju and others were present.

The players selected are P Sai Sampat, M Rahul, P Yugandhar, YVS Prasad, K Venkata Ramana, K Avinash, K Bhaskar, R Sai Manikanta, SK Samshuddin, S Sivarama Krishna, S Akshaya Kumar Reddy, K Jagadish, M Sai Shanker, M Mahendra Tulasi, M Vivekananda, R Gangadhar, P Dileep and SK Abdul Sattar.
