MoUs galore at Fintech fest

Federal Bank, Deloitte, DXC among companies which exchanged papers with the state govt on starting of new facilities in the state 

Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh government announced at Vizag Fintech Festival which is underway here on Tuesday that several noted companies and institutions launched their services in the sun-rise state.

Cardlytics launched India operations, the Federal Bank launched its technology operations in Visakhapatnam. 

The DXC company launched rural employment programme and Deloitte launched its Amaravati office. 

The delegations from the companies exchanged agreement papers with the government in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Meanwhile, the state has inked several MoUs with well-known financial institutions at the festival. The HDFC Bank has come up to promote Fintech Valley Vizag, facilitating banking requirements of the start-ups. 

The Whub come up with collaboration to set up an international landing pad in Hong Kong for start-ups from Andhra Pradesh to expand operations and gain knowledge.

The SOSA with collaboration with Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society will establish landing pads in Israel and New York City, physical operational bases where start-ups, corporations and government representatives from APIS will have access to the SOSA innovation network and get connected to business opportunities.

According the MoU between SingEx and the AP government, the government will host the innovation festivals every year in the state. 

The SingEx through its network will bring in the international business community specifically from the technology fraternity to the state.  The SingEx will expand is operations in India with the base office at Amaravati.

In another MoU, the FinTech Association of Hong Kong in collaboration with Fintech Valley Vizag will build a AP-HK gateway for fintech start-ups and knowledge transfer.
