Varla Ramaiah interacts with commuters in surprise check

Vijayawada: APSRTC chairman Varla Ramaiah made surprise checks of buses from Machilipatnam to Vijayawada and Gudivada to Vijayawada on Wednesday.

The chairman inspected three buses from Machilipatnam at Ganguru bus stop, two buses of Palle Velugu from Gudivada to Vijayawada and No 222 city bus of Vuyyuru depot.

He interacted with passengers travelling in the bus and enquired about the behaviour of the RTC staff with the passengers. 

Later, he cross-checked the tickets of passengers with the SR. No complaints were received from the passengers against the crew except a few maintenance issues like window shutter glass movement in the 222 service.

Speaking to the media the chairman expressed satisfaction and happiness about the crew services which was far better when compared to the past.
