Ayyappa devotees stage protest

Rajamahendravaram: Devotees of Lord Ayyappa organised a procession raising the slogans in the city on Wednesday with placards 'Save Sabarimala temple,' under the aegis of Rajamahendravaram Swamy Ayyappa Seva Samithi.

The participants said the Supreme Court's judgement allowing women into the temple hurt the sentiments of crores of people in the country. They questioned how women can be allowed into the temple violating the established principles.
