Will report cyclone damage to central government

-Central officials’ team explained

Srikakulam: We will report over all damage of crop and otherloss to central government soon said central government officials’ team members, S.K.Jindal, S.K.Singh, MC Pandit, Deen Naadh and others explained. The central team members inspected photo exhibition on cyclone damages at collectorate in Srikakulam city on Thursday and later visited damaged fields in all affected mandals by dividing as two teams. The officials accompanied by district collector, K.Dhanunjaya Reddy and ITDA PO, L.Shiva Sankar and they explained cyclone damages in all mandals. 

They explained measures taken by them after cyclone to the central teams. The central government team officials inspected damaged paddy, coconut, cashew, mango, cotton fields, roads, houses, rice mills and others in Meliaputti, Pathapatnam, Tekkali, Kotabommali, Santhabommali, Vajrapukotturu, Palasa, Mandasa, Itchapuram, Kaviti, Kanchili mandals. The officials interacted with farmers and fishermen in all affected mandals all along the day. They asked the farmers for revival from cyclone loss and time duration for growing of crops. They inquired about loss caused to each farmer due to cyclone and fishermen also the officials inquired about their expenses every month and how they overcome these hurdles in the wake of cyclone loss.

The central officials inquired about coconut, cashew loss and asked the farmers how many years time is required for growing of coconut and cashew trees. The officials also asked farmers what is the amount of investment required for growing of these trees.

Farmers explained about their bad plight after Titli cyclone. Srikakulam MP, K.Rammohan Naidu met the central government officials in Santhabommali mandal and explained about loss to fishermen and farmers and all sections of people. Speaking on the occasion the central government officials said that they will submit report to government on Titli cyclone loss soon.
