Tense situation prevailed after police covered the city roads

Visakhapatnam : All the roads and prime junctions  in the city are covered by city cops here on Friday as they are  chances that some mob could create panic situations among the  public by doing anti social activities on the context of the attack took place on YSRCP Supremo Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday at Vizag Airport.

On Thursday evening after the incident took place, some of the miscreants created panic situations on social media in which provoking controversies between Telugu Desam Party(TDP) and YSRCP .

Sources in the police department said that as part of premative measures all the prime junction like Gajuwaka,NAD cross roads, NH-16,Maddilapalem, Jagadamba junction,Allipuram,Isukatota and at other prime junctions were covered with cops in the city. 

City police also provided protection to all the government assets in the city as some groups (anti social activists) might cause some damages to the  government assets to interrupt law and order in the city under the context of attacks on  YS Jagan.

Additional DCP K Mahendra Patrudu urged  the public not to be panic on the rumors spread around. 

He also said that city police had wrote letter to social media giants to know the origin of the rumors and fake news was spread on social platforms.
